Besides small flower gardens in my yard, I have an eight acre piece of land in my town that we have planted Lemon Queen sunflowers in. We plant the field for the community to enjoy and have held a few educational classes there about sunflowers, pollinators, and butterflies. It is on the edge of city limits so borders small groves of trees on the north and south, and a field of corn to the west. The field should be blooming around Labor Day.
