I have one small flower bed just in front of the front porch that is about 3 ft by 6 feet that contains azalea, bleeding heart, black-eyed susan, bearded iris, peony, roses, mint, and someannual vinca and marigold. There is a larger garden, about 4 ft by 15 ft, on the southwest-facing side of the house that is mostly sunflowers (of several varieties), zinnia, mint, basil, bachelors' buttons, marigold, cucumber, tomato, and cosmos. There is a small patch with a snowball viburnum bush and several varieties of daylily and a few asiatic lilies near the deck, which faces south.
