We have more than 400 species of plants in our yard and in pots on the porch and patio. While I have focused on plants native to Arizona and the Southwest, some of the shrubs that are most popular with many species of bees, butterflies and moths are my emu bushes which are native to Australia. They are full of flowers right now in March-April and will continue blooming much of the year.
We also have have two honeybee hives in our yard. These appeared on their own and have been here for at least 10 years. One is in the cavity of a dead tree and the other is in the underground control box for an old irrigation system. I can submit photos if needed.
