I live on ten acres in a rural area of the county, about a quarter of a mile off of a dead-end road. I utilize about 10% of the property, and I share the rest with a small flock of grazing goats. Most of the property is undeveloped, with the exception that, when I moved in about ten years ago, I cleared all the overgrown brush from the back five acres. The front is mostly old pasture with a lot of native wildflowers and trees (mostly oak and pine). I have planted fruit trees near the house, and I have two small garden areas, in which I grow mostly perennial plants and some vegetables.
