This is a school garden so we use diatomaceous earth and Maggie's farm ant killer for fire ant control. We use roundup sparingly on invasive plants - we will cut and apply roundup to the cut area, but don't spray it in the garden. In addition to our perennials, shrubs and trees, we also have 8 raised beds for vegetables and annual flowers like sunflowers and zinnia.
