That land was untouched for many years until last year when we built a house. The area around the house is sterile, but we are composting and planting native grass for the sake of kids. We want a section of the yard to be garden for veggies, and a space for chickens. The rest we hope to landscape with flowers and such to provide food for bees. We did notice that in our leach field, there is a sunflower heaven.
