MNG started this garden 3 years ago on donated flowers. We are along the Five Mile River in CT. We add to the gardens each year and plan to keep up that trend. We have a mix of trees, shrubs, and flowers. Most of the trees and shrubs were there we just added the flowers and many host plants. We have plan to add a walking path to planted with host and nectar plants along with Bee habitats. This path would include sings explaining what butterfly uses the plant as a host and why native plants are important.
