I returned to my home state Arkansas two months ago, from the San Francisco Bay Area. I became passionately interested in native bees in California, where I photographed as many as I could find on native plants. My property in Arkansas is in town, and has several large oak trees and holly bushes. I have Azaleas in a small garden, and in the back yard, there are 3 large Crepe Myrtle bushes, and a large Wisteria. I want to create two rock gardens and plant sunflowers and native plants. I've joined the Arkansas Native Plant Society. In Calif. I became very concerned about native pollinators, esp. bees, and wish to help them in any way I can, wherever I am.
