We have one acre cleared except for a stand of about eight oak trees in one corner and planted in Bahia grass for soil holding purposes. The field borders on a six acre retention pond. Two sides of the field border on heavy woods of mostly scrub oak and other trees that amount to several acres, The fourth side continues into the actual yard space around the house. The yard is planted in several places with flowering annuals such as pentas laneolata Floridata, geraniums, roses, crepe myrtle, and includes wild plants such as the paw paw, and flowering vines such as "wild pea."There is small garden pool and bird baths are located in different open spaces.
