I have been planting for Monarch Butterflies for 3 years. It is a small yard. With gardens along the fences but I have dogs so the bulk of the back yard is for them. I have Monarda, coneflowers, sedums etc ... I plant many colorful annuals with the intention to attract polinators. My front yard faces east and gets early to mid afternoon sun and I plan on adding the clumping grasses this year.
