My organic lemon queen sunflowers are just starting to bloom and there is an amazing amount of bee activity already. It has almost constant bee visitation and the first flower only opened a few days ago. The bees often fight a little and knock each other off. I have a small, but densely filled garden with native and non-native plant, annuals and perennials. The most visited plant is a large Wisteria in Spring - it's covered with bees when it blooms.
