I am trying to attract more pollinators to my yard by planting flowers that they like and that bloom at different times of the year. I am also trying to attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and other birds. I do have a bird bath with fresh water available, but I've never seen bees drink out of it. They do get water from the leaves when I water my plants. I'm not sure I want bees nesting in my yard, but I do have some bare dirt and a neighbors partially dead tree. In the summer they love my crape myrtle trees. I mostly get honeybees and carpenter bees. I've looked for bumblebees but haven't seen them. I also have a vegetable garden in summer that attracts bees. I have a lot of perennials and annuals on the edges of my yard, with a lawn in the middle.
