I wanted to share this great news. Ortho, the company that produces Scotts and Miracle-Gro products, announced today that they will remove Neonicotinoid pesticides from their outdoor products because of concerns for bees and other pollinators.
Hooray! Just in time for Citizen Science Day. I'll send a note in 4 days, but remember we are hoping to get everyone doing the habitat challenge. You can do this for your yard, a local garden or even a local park.
