I feed birds black oil sunflower seeds, and have a bird bath year round, both in the front and back yards. They nest in some of the bushes.
There are stone pathways, flower beds, and many flowering plants and small trees in the backyard. In the back I have crape myrtles, a bald cypress, a fig tree, and one large live oak. There are passionflower vines and morning glories on the fence in the summer. I hand water daily in the summer, and run irrigation twice weekly in the hottest months. Many bees come to the various flowers in the warm months.
