Fairly neglected northeastern suburban yard, lots of overgrown weeds (mostly non-native spp). Growing population of milkweeds! Flowers mostly on shrubs and trees--lilac, saskatoon serviceberry, mulberry, waiting for my baby redbud to have its first blooms. This spring adding lowbush blueberries and (knock on wood) native lupines.
My porch is made of carpenter bees.
