I have a lot of fruit trees. My bees love my lemon trees. This year there were more bees around my lemon trees than anything else. I don't have good luck growing Lemon Queen Sunflowers, but I grow Borage and some Lavender well and the bees love it. Also, I'm in California, so the watering issue is also at play. As the Lemon trees have deep roots, they do just fine without much water. Otherwise, it's been a challenge. I make sure though that there is always fresh water for the bees in my bird bath.
