Don't you notify when the count takes place?
Our garden is actually four different gardens on the 0.5 (1/2) acre yard. The other land we "own" (1 1/2 acre) is farmed out.
Our garden consists of a myriad flowers and vegetables. All bloom and develop at different times.
We also love gooseberries, and are trying to grow as many bushes as possible. The harsh winters do not seem to harm these bushes.
We also plant trees, and have for last 38 years. Walnut trees (25) Mulberry trees (2 so far) peach (3) and pear (2). Last winter took a huge toll on the peach and pear trees...Everything has been "stunted." I am afraid that if this winter is as bad as last, we will lose most of our trees.
