About Help Tip Weights

When adding a helptip, the weight field controls both the relative order of helptips shown on a single page, and which users see the helptip.

Set the weight as follows:

  • -2: only registered users will see this helptip.
  • -1: only anonymous (unregistered) users will see it.
  • 0 - 5: all users will see it, above the page content.
  • 6-8: all users will see it, in the left sidebar.
