Everyone is welcome to participate in the Great Sunflower Project. The first step is to create an account on this website. All you need is a valid email address. Then, select the level of participation that is right for you.

We use annual Lemon Queen sunflowers (Helianthus annuus). You can either get these at a local store or through us. These sunflowers can be grown in a pot on a deck or patio or in a garden. Click here for some advice on growing. If you do get your own, please be sure to get annual Lemon Queen which will ensure that we will be comparing apples to apples!

With your account, you can join our community discussions on our forum pages.

Better yet, you may participate in our study. Participating is fun and can be done in pots on your deck or a garden.
