Seeking City of Alameda bee counters to interview for article

I am looking for Alameda residents who will be involved either in Saturday's bee count or the sunflower project to interview for a local article. If you are willing to to be interviewed on the phone this week please contact me at ca_parker@hotmail.com. Also I would like to speak with Freddy about whether any Alameda people, as far as he knows, have signed up for the project. Thanks

Alameda bee counter
I live in Alameda and last counted bees in 2009. I had tons of them, and would often have 4 or 5 on a plant at a time. I really enjoyed doing it, but planting time is really busy work time for me, and I didn't get it together this year or last. I started poking around on the site to ask if it's really not too late to plant this year.
