The Great Sunflower Project

Participating in the Great Sunflower Project is an easy three step process.

1. First, plant a native, wild Sunflower. If you create an account, we will send you seeds for this variety. They are also available from American Meadows nursery. If you want to stagger some plantings, you'll have flowers from April to October.
2. Second, answer a few questions about your garden, using the garden description form.
3. Next, make observations (be sure to only watch one plant), and report them using sample data form. We'll send you an email to coordinate when people are sampling.
