No flowers yet

I started my seeds indoors 5/16/09. Planted them in ground 5/31/09.
Plants are now approx. 24" tall. No flowers. We have had tremendous amounts of rain in June here in New York. Am I not seeing flowers because of all the rain? I have 7 plants, last night deer ate the tops off of 3 :(

use other flowers
if the sunflowers aren't working for you, get counts from other flowers. That's better than not sending in any info at all. There is a list of preferred alternates, but you can use what you have. Is there anything in your garden that you can see bees ARE coming to?
If the deer just trimmed it, it may come back...just take longer and they may be bushier. I have no clue about the amount of rainfall affecting them.
