Sunflower Seeds

I received seeds in the mail (4/22/09) and in good condition. Thanks from Flowerpowerpa.

Seeds in the ground!

Got my seeds about a week ago, and had also ordered more from Diane's Seeds (yes, I made sure they were the right kind) because I have 3 garden plots and wanted to make sure I could put sunflowers in all of them.

Planted a row with my early corn, which went in 4/21, then planted two rows with my beans, which went in 4/22 and 4/23. I have just enough to put in one more row between my mid-season and late corn, which I'll plant on 4/28.

I'm excited and ready to start counting bees! There are already a few bees coming around, my strawberries are blooming and they're busy with those. In 2007 I had lots of honey bees buzzing around my corn, but last year there weren't quite so many. It'll be interesting to see what happens this year.

Received seeds

I have received my seeds to and am excited about this growing season. I have started to notice more bees coming in my area every day. Maybe the sunflowers will help bring more.

finally got my seeds 8 weeks and 1 day later

Got my seeds, 8 weeks and 1 day after signing up and requesting them. But it is only June, I'll plant them tomorrow and see if I can muster blooms before the season ends.
