I don't think the project seeds are going to pay off. Other types of sunflowers in our garden have already flowered, seeded, and are now waning, but we're more than one month into the GSP seedlings and nothing is happening.
The good news is that we had dozens of bees all over our other plants. But I can't count those for the sample.
We're in Richmond, Calif., across the bay from San Francisco State U.

My plants sprouted but got only inches tall. I don't think they've completely given up yet, but it doesn't look good. I'm in Wisconsin and did not get flowers last year either. I requested that they not send seeds this year in order to save the money, but they sent some anyway.
