Since I have not had any sunflower blossomed, I have no sample to submit. Hopefully, next year, my sunflowers could blossom earlier. I am sure the bees of my garden are not starving because there are a lot of beautiful flowers around such as Hummingbird spicy red, black eye susan, honeysucker, butterfly brush. I shall continue to plant more vivace till the end of season.

In many areas, there are lots of late summer and early fall bees. If your sunflower does flower, please do take some data for us. We'll be happy to get data right up through the end of October.
