They are 4-5 feet tall now! I can hardly wait for flowers!
If you received broken and cracked seeds, plant them anyway. I planted my broken seeds and now have 8 healthy plants!
I have 26 flowers blooming right now and the tallest ones are over 6 feet tall. The strangest thing I see is that some have at least 4 flowers blooming at the top of one stem! I have never seen this before. Some plants I put in areas where thier root system is a little restricted---so they are only about 3 feet tall and the flower heads are only half the size of the big ones. They were all planted at the same time---but if the soil is not too packed or hard---and they have plenty of room for the roots to spread out---they just keep going and going---and the bees are just eating them up!!
My plants are very tall now too.......I agree with "Searcher", I can hardly wait to see the flowers. It is almost like Christmas morning waiting for my flowers to appear.
