I am reading a great book called "Bees of the World" by Christopher O'Toole and Anthony Raw. It talks about their origins, life cycle, the different types (i.e. Mason, Miner, Other Solitary, Leaf Cutter, Honey, Carpenter, etc.), how to identify them, their social structure and their importance. I thought I'd share my finding in case anyone else was interested in further reading on these fascinating pollinators.
