A Fantastic Project

Hey Everyone,
I live in NC and have 5 sunflower plants. All of which should open any day now. I have one open already. I watched for 30 minutes today but no bees. I too planted my seeds in my "square foot garden" and my plants are at least 8 feet tall. My kids call them "giant flowers". I am excited about the project. However, I was disappointed that no bees came around. We have vegetables growing also and the bees seem to hum around in the early morning and evening. Next time I'll try to watch a little earlier. Thanks for the great opportunity. We are loving it!!!!!
