I apologize if these questions have been answered elsewhere. I looked but couldn't find..

Do we count all species of bees or Only honey bees? I have a number of the smaller bees, Agapostemon texana, visiting, 3 for the one honeybee I saw this morning. These bees have green thorax and striped abdomen; males, according to my research.

With the smaller bees around it seems that all bees move off and on the flower a lot and I'm concerned I might lose track of which is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on...whether its the same bee be re-landing or not..any suggestions or instructions to keep track with all the movement going on?
