I was hoping that my sunflowers would last all summer, but they are already dead. Should I take some seeds from the dried up flowers and plant some more? First freeze here in South Carolina will not be until around Thanksgiving.
The seeds might need a bit of a cold period to mature. You could put some in the refrigerator for two weeks.
