planting natives at Mary Beth Doyle Nature Preserve in Ann Arbor Mich. May 10

On May 10, 2008, from 9 AM to noon, we'll be planting sun-loving native plants in the Mary Beth Doyle Nature Preserve, at 2870 Packard Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104.

The species list hasn't been finalized, but will probably include:

  • bee balm (Monarda)
  • prairie dock (Silphium terebinthinaceum)
  • butterfly milkweed (Asclepius tuberosa)
  • whorled milkweed (A, virticilla)
  • boneset (Eupatorium perfolatum)
  • Joe-Pye (E. purpureum)
