I wonder if they could be Mason or Solitary Bees. They are studying them here in Utah at Utah State University and they almost look like the pictures I have seen in their editorials.
I see honeybees here. But the little bees in this picture are a puzzle. I have them also---and don't know what they are---they look just like honeybees----but only about one third the size. I also would like to know what they are. CJosse

I don't see any honey bees
I don't see any honey bees in this photo. The larger bees look like leafcutters (Megachile). They are gray rather than the brown color of honey bees.
The smaller ones? Hum...
